The active Unitek Y-274 extension cord allows you to connect a USB 2.0 device behind a computer at a distance of 20 meters or more. It is possible thanks to the amplifiers installed in the cable. Unitek Y-274 was made of the best materials to ensure optimal performance. The cable was made of 100% copper, premium chipsets and gold-plated ends were used. The aluminum casing makes the extension look good, but it will serve us for years.
Better LTE signal and a wealth of applications
An active extension cord is often used to improve the LTE or DVB-T signal. We usually have a notebook or computer at the desk, which can be separated from the window, which usually has the strongest range. By placing the LTE or DVB-T modem by the window, it can be connected to a remote computer using the Unitek Y-274. Additional power supply
Thanks to compatibility with the USB 2.0 standard, the amplifier enables transfer with speeds up to 480Mbps. It has an additional power supply input in case the current from the USB port is too weak. Maintaining a constant current of up to 500 mA, affects the stability of the connected devices. For most applications where power consumption is a small additional power supply will not be necessary. The cord is relatively thin and flexible. However, it should be remembered that in the middle of its length there is a strengthening cube.
