Qoltec Patchcord Fiber LC / UPC-LC / UPC | MM | 50/125 | OM3 | 15m
Description:
Fiber optic patchcord is used in networks such as LAN, WAN, CCTV, and telephone systems, e.g., in offices, homes, or industrial environments. Fiber optic cabling is characterized by resistance to electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, reliability, operational safety due to the absence of sparking and electrical voltage, as well as high information capacity of each individual fiber. It should also be taken into account that fiber optic patchcords enable signal transmission over long distances due to low attenuation in the optical fiber, make unauthorized interception of transmitted data more difficult, and offer low and continuously decreasing operating costs.
Patchcord diagram
- Fiber optic cable: tight-buffer construction with OM3 standard fiber, reinforced with aramid yarn, which is characterized by high strength, flexibility, energy absorption, thermal resistance, and light weight, as well as a 3.0 mm LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) outer cable jacket that does not emit harmful gases in the event of a fire.
- Termination: LC/UPC LC/UPC connectors.
