Four USB-A ports

The active USB hub from Unitek allows you to connect up to four devices with a USB-A port in one place. These can be nano-receivers from computer peripherals (mouse, keyboard) or gadgets such as a lamp or fan, or even a hard drive enclosure. This is a convenient solution, especially when a laptop or PC has a limited number of ports. Thanks to plug and play technology, the hub does not require the installation of drivers. It is also compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems.

Lightning-fast transfers

The hub is ideal for data transfer. The USB 3.0 connections provide a transfer rate of up to 5Gbps. For example, copying a 1080p video weighing 8GB takes just 14 seconds. In comparison, the previous standard, USB 2.0 with a speed of 480 Mbps such a file would transfer in 2 minutes 30 seconds.

Secure charging

You can connect an additional power supply, such as a phone charger, to the USB-C port. Of course, you can also use the USB-A ports responsible for data transfer at the same time.

Practical design

The hub is small in size – just 8.68 cm long and 2.6 cm wide. Made of high-quality ABS plastic, it is characterised by its high scratch resistance. A 15 cm long cable with a USB-A plug is already built into the device, so you do not need to buy another cable.

Active hub for demanding users

Active hubs will come in handy for devices that require higher power consumption (above 500 mA). These could be webcams, tablets or external drives. This splitter has a port for optional charging (USB-C). Your power supply can even be a phone charger. To use this function, in addition to the charger, you will of course need a cable with a USB-C plug. This has an advantage: by using the power supplies you already have at home, you help to reduce the amount of electro-waste.
