The ZTE GECKO window mounting kit is designed for users who need a stable and fast internet connection without complex installation on building façades. Thanks to the innovative mount, the router can be quickly and safely installed on the outside of a window, allowing optimal positioning for the best signal reception. ZTE GECKO supports installation of ZTE MC889 5G outdoor routers.

Installation of the ZTE GECKO kit is simple. Follow these steps:

• Attach the mounting bracket to the router.
• Choose a suitable spot on the window and clean it thoroughly.
• Remove the protective layer from the mount and stick it onto the clean glass surface.
• Slide the router into the bracket until you hear a click.
• Pass the flat network cable through the window gap and connect it to the device.
• Run the securing line through the mount, tie it with a knot, and fasten it to the wall with a screw. Secure the cables to the wall.
• Connect the indoor unit and enjoy fast wireless internet access.
• If removal is needed (e.g., to clean the window), simply pull the mount perpendicular to the surface. The adhesive design prevents detachment under other angles, while the correct direction allows easy removal from the glass.
