Unitek uDrive Dual-Bay SATA Reader is a cloning station for SATA and SSD drives. The accessory allows you to copy data even without connecting it to your computer. 5 Gbps USB standard
It supports data transfer at a speed of 5 Gbps, a standard known as USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen 1 or USB 3.2 Gen 1. Regardless of the name that has changed over the years, this is a fast data transfer that makes working with large files easier.
Comprehensive compatibility
You can use the S1306A docking station with Windows computers and laptops as well as Linux or macOS.
Dual-pocket SATA drive reader
You can connect two SATA I, II or III drives of up to 8 TB capacity to the device. The drive reader supports both 2.5 and 3.5 media, HDD and SSD. You can transfer data between drives or to your computer’s drive via the super-fast USB 3.2 Gen1 connection with a bandwidth of up to 5 Gbps. Therefore, the reader can be used not only for cloning, but also as a storage medium two drives means a total of up to 16 TB of additional data.
Copy drives without connecting a computer
The Unitek uDrive Dual-Bay standalone data duplicator can work without being connected to a computer. All you have to do is place the drives in the slots and press the clone button! The capacity of the destination drive must be greater than or equal to that of the source drive.
Clear LED cloning indicators
There is an LED indicator on the front of the device to indicate the progress of the cloning. Therefore, you no longer need to check the writing status of the data on the monitor, and copying without being connected to a computer becomes convenient and intuitive.
Convenient drive installation and operation
The S1306A disk cloning station is a plug and play device, so you don’t need to install any additional drivers to be able to connect it to your PC and view the data on the disks. You can also swap drives while the device is connected to your computer (hot swap).
Note
The drive only supports drives with 512-byte sectors. Drives with 4 kB sectors must be formatted before connecting to the station. We recommend backing up your data before formatting so that you do not lose it.
