• the bypass (UPS) function, i.e. automatic switching of the power source between the 230V mains and the 12V battery without the need for user intervention
• when 230V mains voltage is available the device switches to bypass mode
• in the event of a power failure the system automatically switches to the 12V battery
• once power is restored, the inverter returns to bypass mode and resumes supplying power to the devices from the mains.
