European standard connector type 2

The charger has a Type 2 connector, which is now an official European Union standard, and will charge electric cars equipped with a suitable charging socket. The Type 2 connector is 7 contacts, of which 3 contacts or 5 are for charging and 2 for communication between the station and the car. Compatible with most electric cars sold in Europe. The Qoltec brand charger supports four current modes of 8A, 10A, 13A and 16A. It is worth mentioning that the Type 2 connector is designed for electric vehicles with a charging power of more than 3kW.

Using button A, you can set the current intensity: 16A, 20A, 24A or 32A, allowing you to optimally select the charging speed and protect the electrical installation.

Our chargers are constructed from durable, UV-resistant, non-flammable polycarbonate. In addition, the charger exhibits high water resistance and is dustproof. The casing has special holes for external mounting.
