Both controllers feature three Mini-SAS HD (SFF-8644) ports, supporting 12Gb/s SAS and Broadcom SAS DataBolt throughput-optimizing technology. The dual-path Mini-SAS design ensures continuous operation even when the external JBOD cable is disconnected. Using high-speed Mini-SAS HD cables, up to seven TL-R1620Sdc units can be daisy-chained, providing expandability and high reliability for mission-critical storage in file servers, virtualization, surveillance, mid-sized data centers, multimedia, and more.
