Four USB-A ports

The active USB hub from Unitek allows you to connect up to four devices with a USB-A port in one place. These can be nanoreceivers from computer peripherals (mouse, keyboard) or gadgets, such as a lamp or fan, and even a hard drive housing. This is a convenient solution, especially when a laptop or PC has a limited number of ports. Even MacBook users have to deal with a small number of ports. The new models no longer have USB-A ports. Thanks to Plug and Play technology, the hub does not require driver installation. It is also compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems.

Instant transfer

Hub is perfect for data transfer. USB 3.0 connectors provide transfer rates up to 5Gbps. For example, copying a 1080p movie weighing 8GB takes just 14 seconds. For comparison, the previous standard, USB 2.0, at 480 Mbps, such a file would transfer 2 minutes 30 seconds.

Safe charging

You can connect additional power, such as a phone charger, to the USB-C port. Of course, you can use the USB-A ports responsible for data transfer at the same time.

Practical design

The hub is small – only 8.68 cm long and 2.6 cm wide. Made of high-quality ABS plastic, it is highly scratch-resistant. The 15 cm long USB-C cable is already built into the device, so you don’t have to buy another cable.

An active hub for the demanding

Active hubs are suitable for devices that require a higher current consumption (above 500 mA). These can be webcams, tablets or external drives. This hub has a port for optional charging (USB-C). Your power supply can be even a phone charger. To use this function, in addition to the charger, you obviously need a cable with a USB-C plug. This has its advantage: by using the power supplies you already have at home, you help reduce the amount of e-waste.
