L009 has an efficient dual-core ARM processor. It offers significant improvements in routing and filtering, complex firewall rules, IPsec hardware encryption, and various advanced RouterOS features. The ARM processor architecture provides significant advantages over older MIPS-based devices. All ports are now Gigabit Ethernet ports. The first port has a PoE input. You can use it instead of a DC socket to power your device. The last port has PoE-Out to power other devices. Another helpful addition is SFP that supports both Gigabit and 2.5 Gigabit connectivity.
