NVMe SSDs for Data Centers
The KIOXIA XD8 Series E1.S SSDs are designed in accordance with the Enterprise and Datacenter Standard Form Factor (EDSFF) E1.S specification to meet the specific requirements of hyperscale applications, including the performance, power, and thermal requirements defined by the Open Compute Project (OCP) Datacenter NVMe SSD specification. In addition to 9.5 mm E1.S enclosures, a 15 mm E1.S enclosure with a heatsink is also supported. Designed to optimize system density and performance, the XD8 Series SSDs represent the future of flash storage for servers and storage systems in cloud-based and hyperscale data center applications, supporting capacities of up to 7.68 TB.
