K2 technology for better digital sound quality

K2 is JVC’s original technology that reproduces the original master sound by extending the frequency range.

For example, K2 will expand the digital data of an audio CD recorded at 44.1 kHz to 192 kHz. It is also possible to reproduce the high-frequency range above 20 kHz, which is truncated during CD formatting.

Sound optimisation:

• Timing Alignment: by selecting the type of speaker and the distance to the centre of the listening position, the head unit will automatically adjust the timing of the sound output from each speaker so that the sound from each speaker reaches the listening position at exactly the same time.
• Sound Lift: virtually manipulate the height of the speakers by adjusting the sound frequencies.
• Volume Link EQ: Volume Link EQ amplifies specific frequencies in the audio signal to compensate for the impact of road noise. Amplifies frequencies in the music that are affected by road noise.

Bluetooth wireless technology:

• 2 Phone full-time: you can connect two phones full-time via Bluetooth, with secure and simple pairing. Calls to any phone can be answered by pressing a key on the head unit.
• Bluetooth AVRCP for versatile song selection In addition to multiple and random music playback, you can also easily search for songs using the browse function. Simply search and select the songs you want to listen to from a list of folder names and track names.
• Bluetooth hands-free profile: HPF Wideband Speech is supported, so you can now enjoy the convenience of hands-free calling, as well as higher voice quality and improved noise reduction.
• Automatic Bluetooth iPhone / Android pairing: simply connect your iPhone or Android device* via USB, and the automatic Bluetooth pairing function will kick in. Don’t worry about the complicated manual procedure. (* JVC Music Play app required)

JVC Streaming DJ

Connect up to 5 Bluetooth devices simultaneously, so you and your friends can take turns streaming music like a DJ. Get into the groove and rock the party to the max.

Remote control app

Control the receiver source directly from your smartphone with simple finger gestures thanks to the JVC Remote app now available for both iOS and Android. You can even adjust audio settings and view detailed source information such as song title, artist name, album art etc. from your smartphone.
