System overview
With an advanced deep learning algorithm, the Dahua WizSense 2 Series network camera supports intelligent features such as perimeter protection and intelligent motion detection. Thanks to Starlight technology, this camera series provides better image effect in low light conditions.
SMD Plus
With an intelligent algorithm, Dahua Smart Motion Detection technology can categorise targets that trigger motion detection and filter the motion detection alarm triggered by other targets to provide an effective and accurate alarm.
Intelligent H.265+ and Intelligent H.264+
With an advanced rate control algorithm that adapts to the scene, Dahua’s intelligent encoding technology delivers higher encoding performance than H.265 and H.264, ensures high video quality and reduces storage and transmission costs.
Perimeter protection
Automatically filters out false alarms caused by animals, rustling leaves, bright lights, etc. Allows the system to identify targets secondarily. Improves alarm accuracy.
WDR
Thanks to the advanced Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology, the Dahua network camera provides clear details in high contrast brightness environments. A clear image can be obtained in both bright and dark areas, even in high brightness or backlight shadow environments.
Cyber security
Dahua network cameras use a range of security technologies including security authentication and authorisation, access control protocols, trusted protection, encrypted transmission and encrypted storage. These technologies improve the camera’s protection against external cyber threats and prevent malicious software from entering the device.
Protection (IP67, IK10, wide voltage)
IP67: The camera passes a series of rigorous dust and soak tests. It has a dust-proof function and the housing can operate normally when soaked in 1m of water for 30 minutes. IK10: The housing can withstand more than 5 times the impact of a 5 kg hammer falling from a height of 40 cm (impact energy is 20J).
Wide voltage: The camera allows an input voltage tolerance of 30% (with some power supplies) (wide voltage range) and is widely used in outdoor environments with unstable voltages.
