LINO is a family of column loudspeakers designed for a wide range of general-purpose applications in spaces with challenging acoustics. These speakers are used both in public address systems and other voice communication setups, as well as in systems for background music playback. They are commonly installed in churches, lecture halls, conference rooms, exhibition centers, train stations, and other transportation hubs, among many other locations. They are distinguished by a robust design with full-aluminum components and rigid, finely perforated grilles.
The LINO10 column speaker includes ten 2-inch mid- and low-frequency drivers, along with a centrally mounted 1-inch tweeter. The system delivers 40 W continuous (RMS) power, and the multi-tap line transformer allows connection to 70 V/100 V public address systems with 40 W, 20 W, and 10 W taps (5 W only at 70 V). It performs well in installations that require consistent acoustic performance in spaces with high reverberation, reducing echo and minimizing microphone feedback, ultimately providing the best possible speech intelligibility and music quality.
Mounting is accomplished via an L-shaped bracket attached to the top and bottom of the enclosure. This provides the installer with optimal flexibility and allows precise angling and tilting of the speaker. The speaker is positioned 10 mm from the wall and can be tilted vertically by 2°. Connection is made via screw terminals, and the multi-tap line transformer enables integration into 70 V/100 V systems with selectable power taps. Low-impedance connection is also possible.
Dispersion values are the average beamwidth in the critical speech intelligibility frequency range of 14 kHz (-6 dB 1/3 octave), relevant to the primary applications of these speakers.
