QNAP’s QGD-1602P is the world’s first managed PoE switch with virtual machine support. The QGD-1602P is equipped with 2.5GbE and 10GbE SFP+ ports and PoE output up to 90W, enabling the creation of a fast, high-power PoE network infrastructure for Wi-Fi 6 access points and routers. With a dual-processor design, the QGD-1602P uses 2.2 GHz multi-core Intel Atom processors with dual SATA drive bays to support virtual machines and QTS applications. The QGD-1602P not only supports IP surveillance, network security, wireless access point management, and storage expansion applications, but also combines QuWAN to build an SD-WAN infrastructure with other QNAP devices in multiple locations, enabling a durable and secure IT infrastructure. With 20GbE internal bandwidth and Intel QuickAssist Technology (Intel QAT), the QGD-1602P provides the high-performance transmission required for edge virtualization and IPsec VPN, and offers small and medium-sized enterprises a cost-optimized and centrally managed LAN deployment solution.

PoE++/PoE+

Compliance with IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ and IEEE 802.3at PoE+ standards. It offers 4 90W ports and 12 30W PoE Gigabit ports. Capable of providing a total power supply of 380W to meet high power device (PD) requirements and support intelligent PoE management features.

10GbE connectivity

Two 10GbE SFP+ ports provide computers, LAN switches and NAS servers with greater bandwidth, increasing performance for applications such as virtualization, 4K video editing and file sharing.

Layer 2 network

It provides comprehensive Layer 2 management features (e.g. VLAN, LACP, QoS IGMP Snooping and Wake-on-LAN) and user-friendly network management software. IT staff can effectively control network bandwidth and increase security using a web-based management interface.
