What is an AGM battery?

Green Cell AGM batteries have a very wide range of applications. They can be used for both cyclical and buffer operation.

Cyclical operation

In cyclic operation, the battery is used as a stand-alone energy source. AGMs of this type are designed for very frequent charging and discharging. They are used in this way in alarm systems, UPS units, cash registers or emergency lighting.

Buffer operation

Buffer operation allows the battery to act as a back-up power supply for the connected device. The battery connected to the power supply system provides additional power in the event of a failure of the main power source.
