The Volcano Hex series of Volcano power supplies is designed based on the ATX 3.1 and PCI Express 5.1 standards, ensuring support for advanced and demanding hardware solutions on the market. The ATX 3.1/PCIe 5.1 standards meet the requirements of the highest-end graphics cards and pose significant challenges for computer power supplies, as they require support for peak loads up to twice the rated power of the power supply. The Volcano Hex is a power supply platform built using the Half-bridge LLC Resonant конвертор topology, with a DC-DC circuit for the 3.3V and 5V lines, ensuring stable voltages regardless of the power supply’s load.
