It expands the capabilities of a computer equipped with a USB-A port with 7 additional SuperSpeed USB-A ports.

The DIGITUS Industrial USB 3.0 Hub is ideal for industrial applications thanks to its metal housing. It can be wall-mounted or mounted on a mounting rail and connected to a computer, notebook, or server using the included USB 3.0 cable. It supports the USB 3.0 SuperSpeed standard with data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbps. It is also backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1. The hub can be powered via a two-wire terminal block connection (+9V to 24V). An external power supply can optionally be connected to the DC jack.

• A robust metal housing and various mounting brackets enable flexible mounting on mounting rails or various surfaces.
• ESD protection up to 15 kV: The USB hub is protected against electrostatic discharge, making it particularly suitable for use in industrial environments.
• Thanks to the Super-Speed USB 3.0 standard, fast data transfers of up to 5 Gbps are possible. USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 connections are also supported thanks to backward compatibility.
• An integrated DC power connector allows for additional power supply to the USB hub.
