The new, completely redesigned Tractrix tweeter horn delivers the power, precision and excitement of live music combined with the purest, incredibly natural sound. Increasing the external dimensions of the horn allows directivity control over a wider frequency band, resulting in better high-frequency directivity and a more accurate soundstage.
ALUMINUM Tweeter (LTS) WITH KAPTON SUSPENSION
The unique LTS (Linear Travel Suspension) technology minimizes distortion, ensuring excellent, more detailed sound. Aluminum is an extremely light and stiff material used in tweeter drivers to provide high performance and improve resolution and detail. LTS tweeters are the hallmark of Klipsch speakers, making them the centerpiece of some of the best speakers in the world.
TCP COPPER WOOFER DIAPHRAGM
The woofers, made using TCP (Thermoformed Crystalline Polymer) technology, use solutions known from the highly valued Reference Premiere series. Their cones have a steeper angle, which allows for smoother low-frequency response and better accuracy and transparency. Additional ribs increase overall stiffness, reducing distortion at higher frequencies.
