Kingston’s IronKey S1000 USB Flash Drive meets the most demanding standards to ensure uncompromising data security. All data is secured using 256-bit AES hardware encryption in XTS mode, and the memory meets FIPS 140-2 Level 3 requirements and offers encryption key management based on built-in cryptographic chip. The memory detects and responds to attempts at physical tampering and provides automatic data protection from the moment the memory is disconnected. As an additional security measure, digitally signed firmware is used in the memory, ensuring resistance to attempts to read using the BadUSB method. The S1000 memory allows you to use one of two types of password: a complex password or a password phrase up to 255 characters long. After ten failed password attempts, the storage locks, leaving you with the option to reformat or destroy.

Corporate model

The enterprise version of the S1000 memory is complemented by the ability to centrally administer IronKey memories used in the organization using an intuitive, easy-to-use and secure web interface. By activating the license with the SafeConsole Management service, the memory works with physical or cloud servers. This way, password, access and password recovery policies can be remotely enforced, and administrators can even take advantage of advanced features such as repurposing end-of-life storage.
