Description:

ARUBA AP-615 (RW) Campus AP R7J49A

Aruba AP-615 (RW) Dual Radio, Tri-Band 2×2:2 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6E Internal Antennas Campus AP

The Aruba 610 Series Campus Access Points are designed to take advantage of the 6 GHz band and achieve a combined maximum data rate of 3.6 Gbps, providing higher throughput and speed indoors. Adding support for the 6GHz band increases bandwidth by up to 1,200MHz 1 with more 80/160MHz channels to meet the growing demands of bandwidth-intensive video, the growth of client and IoT devices, and expanded use of the cloud. Compact and cost-effective, the Aruba 610 Series features two programmable radios that can be tuned to any two of the three Wi-Fi 6E bands: 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz. Full tri-band coverage is available in a multi-AP deployment. Built-in GPS receivers and accurate timing enable the Aruba 610 Campus Series access points to automatically locate themselves and serve as reference points for accurate indoor location measurements.

  • Unlock the 6GHz band to provide up to 1200MHz of additional capacity and up to 3.6Gbps combined peak data rate.
  • Up to seven 160MHz channels in the 6GHz band support low-latency, bandwidth-intensive applications such as high-definition video and augmented/virtual reality applications.
  • Programmable dual radio modes provide economical coverage in any two of the three Wi-Fi 6E bands: 2.4GHz, 5GHz, 6GHz with full tri-band coverage for multi-AP deployments.
  • Low power consumption enables unrestricted operation from an 802.3af (Class 3) POE source 2 .
  • Built-in GPS receivers and precise timing allow APs to automatically locate each other and serve as reference points for accurate indoor location measurements.
  • More capacity and wider channels with Wi-Fi 6E
  • The Aruba 610 Series campus access points with two radios provide a maximum combined data rate of 3.6 Gbps.
  • Programmable radios can be configured to cover any two of the three Wi-Fi 6E bands: 2.4GHz, 5GHz, 6GHz.
  • Low power consumption (802.3af class 3) and compact form factor for easy deployment.
  • Aruba’s unique capabilities include ClientMatch, Advanced Cellular Coexistence, and Intelligent Power Monitoring to customize usage and power consumption.
  • The Aruba 610 Series access points have built-in GPS receivers and accurate timing to automatically and accurately locate each other.
  • The Aruba 610 Series supports Open Locate, an evolving standard that allows access points to share their location wirelessly and through cloud-based APIs.

Mounting

The mounting bracket has been pre-installed on the back of the AP. This bracket is used to attach the AP to any mounting kit (sold separately)

Antenna

WiFi AP-615: Integrated downtilt omni-directional antennas for 2×2 MIMO technology with peak antenna gain of 4.6 dBi in the 2.4 GHz band, 7.0 dBi in the 5 GHz band and 6.3 dBi in the 6 GHz band. The built-in antennas are optimized for the horizontal orientation of the AP on the ceiling. The downward angle for maximum gain is about 30 to 40 degrees. Combining the patterns of each MIMO radio antenna, the peak gain of the combined average pattern is 2.2 dBi in the 2.4 GHz band, 4.8 dBi in the 5 GHz band, and 4.9 dBi in the 6 GHz band.
