The Dahua IP camera IPC-HFW5442E-SE-0280B is equipped with a 4MP 1 / 1.8 CMOS image sensor, which provides high resolution in low light. It has a 2.8 mm lens and is equipped with IR LEDs (IR range up to 50 m). The device can count cars and people, additionally it recognises faces.
The Dahua IP camera IPC-HFW5442E-SE-0280B can track and process moving body targets to provide a report. The IPC-HFW5442E-SE-0280B supports SD card storage. The camera has an IP67 water and dust protection rating, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. Dahua ePoE technology enables long distance transmission of power, video, audio and control signals over 800 metres at 10 Mb/s or 300 metres at 100 Mb/s.
SMART IR
Smart IR ensures a clear and optimally illuminated image even in areas of low ambient light. This function enables automatic adjustment of the IR light intensity. This function allows the user to change basic image parameters such as contrast, exposure and brightness. BLC:

3D DNR:
3D DNR analyses individual frames and analyses the differences between successive video frames to adjust pixels and increase image fidelity. 3D-DNR reduces noise to a greater extent, but has the disadvantage of tending to create blurring of moving objects. Its main application is in relation to static areas of the observed space.
HLC:
The HLC function detects image points that are strongly illuminated and then masks them allowing effective observation. The HLC mode is extremely useful when observing underground car parks. It allows you to read license plate numbers that are obscured by „bright spots“ from headlights.
WDR:
Wide Dynamic Range extended dynamic range. Allows you to extend the capabilities of the BLC backlight compensation system. Cameras with WDR function are equally useful outdoors as in indoor systems. They eliminate the problem of the camera being blinded by a strong light source, e.g. in sunny places or when the camera is supposed to monitor a room and is placed opposite a window. WDR evens out the illumination and therefore allows both brightening of dark parts and darkening of overly brightened areas of the image.
Perimeter protection:
Using a deep learning algorithm, Dahua Perimeter Protection technology can accurately recognise humans and vehicles. In restricted areas (such as the pedestrian and vehicle zone), the number of false alarms of intelligent detection depending on the type of target (e.g. triage, intrusion, fast moving, parking, location and collection detection) is greatly reduced.
